Ride For Heart

Today’s quick and easy project was to make something for a yoga night that I’m attending. This is held in honour of my yoga teacher’s friend who had a heart transplant last year, as well as to fundraise for the Ride for Heart.

My yoga teacher, and mom’s friend, is the one who got me interested in the Ride. She did it last year with a group of friends and family and I thought that I would join in this year, along with my dad.

For the yoga night, I decided to make something healthy, as it is for the Heart&Stroke Foundation. The result was mini carrot muffins with cream cheese icing. Something healthy, with a little bit of sweet! I made the icing a heart since it went well with the theme of the night, plus it was fun to do!

My next big project starts tomorrow, so hopefully all goes well!
